Saudi Arabia runs on 230V at 60 Hz, uses British-style sockets and has some of the hottest operating conditions anywhere. Our Saudi line is configured for all of it.
230V at 60 Hz
Unlike most 230V markets, Saudi Arabia uses a 60 Hz grid. Our EV-ACS3210E is rated for 50/60 Hz, and we confirm 60 Hz operation for every other model before quoting.
Heat-rated hardware
IP65 to IP66 enclosures rated up to +50°C. We recommend shaded installation for outdoor car parks.
Type 2 vehicles
Type 2 is the common AC charging connector on the electric cars sold in Saudi Arabia, so our chargers for the market use Type 2.
Built for new developments
Residential compounds, hotels and business districts need load-managed multi-charger sites. Our smart models and 43 kW station support them.
60 Hz and SABER registration
Saudi Arabia switched to 230V in 2010 but kept its 60 Hz frequency, so frequency rating must be checked for every charger. Products entering the market are also registered through SASO's SABER platform.
Our CB test reports and CE declarations support that registration. For hotel EV charging, apartment and condo charging and commercial EV charging, share the site plan and we will size the chargers with you.
