Switzerland uses European charging standards but its own sockets and a non-EU customs border. Our Swiss line is configured for both.
Swiss sockets are different
Swiss homes use T13 (Type J) sockets, and three-phase sites use T15/T25 or CEE sockets. Our three-phase portables ship with CEE plugs; ask us about other configurations.
Three-phase 400V
Three-phase 400V supply is common, so 11 kW home charging and 22 kW commercial charging are both practical.
Type 2 and CCS2
Like the rest of Europe, Switzerland uses the Type 2 connector for AC charging and CCS2 for DC fast charging, so every model we ship there uses Type 2.
DDP across the border
Switzerland is outside the EU customs union. With DDP, we handle freight and Swiss import clearance to your address.
EU-aligned rules, Swiss oversight
Switzerland is not in the EU, but its rules for low-voltage electrical products are closely aligned with EU requirements, and ESTI oversees electrical product safety. Our CE declarations and CB test reports support your Swiss conformity file.
For hotel EV charging, apartment and condo charging and workplace charging, we can size chargers and load management for the site.

Which connector do your chargers for Switzerland use?
Our chargers for Switzerland use the Type 2 (IEC 62196-2) vehicle connector, either as a tethered cable or a socket, which matches the AC inlet on the electric cars sold there.

Our three-phase portables use CEE red plugs, which fit CEE industrial sockets. Swiss T13, T15 and T25 sockets need a different plug, so tell us which socket your customers use and we will confirm the options.
